To everyone involved in the translation effort,

My name is Justin and I have been asked to help bring all the individual efforts of translating modx to a central location. I have already sent messages to many of you, but using this thread may be a little easier on everyone.

If you are actively working on a translation, please reply to this thread with the following information:

    • User Name:
    • Language:
    • Progress toward completion:
    • Estimated Completion date:
    • Other important information:

Please ensure that you are using the latest translation kit to perform your work. You should be currently working with the 095 translation kit. Use the 095 kit as your base along with the current 096 files. I will soon be providing you with some information on the changes between 095 and 096. Once you have completed a translation, please attach the file here so that i may begin to compile all of the translations.

Please reply with any concerns or questions you may have. Also feel free to send me a private message.

    Thank You,
    Justin

Actually, the base should be the 095 kit. There will be a diff of each file posted soon, so keep in mind the 095 version is just a starting point.

          Hi Justin!

Great to have you onboard! I manage the swedish translation. I distribute it as a language pack and it can be found here:

          Swedish language pack

The language pack includes the main README file and files for manager, country list, quickedit, dockmanager, wayfinder, ditto, eform, tinymce, ajaxsearch and as an extra: kimu’s weblogin snippet. All of them in ISO-8859-1 and UTF-8 encoding.
I’m currently updating the language files for tinymce, ie the files that can be downloaded from tinymce.moxiecode.com as a language pack.

I follow the changes in svn and do updates whenever neccessary so the language pack is complete and finished as far as the the latest public svn version, ie rev 2446. I haven’t posted the latest changes as I’m waiting for confirmation that no more language changes is due for release 0.9.6.

The Dutch translation of 0.9.5 can be found here.

You can find all translated files from the translation kit in the zipfile, including the readme.

At the moment I don’t have much time, but when I can help with the Dutch translation, I will.

What we really need for translations to be included in the default install is a complete set, organized in a single, complete download. When the new translation kit is available, I hope you’ll be able to consolidate and update it all for us. Thanks for your help!
