I tried it on a site I just upgraded this morning, using both a full URL and the MODx [~...~] tags. Both worked.

Send me a PM with information so I can access your site manager to investigate the problem. It would be helpful if there is anyway you can provide access via phpmyadmin as well...alternatively we can make arrangements for you to send me a dump of your database and assets dir

It would be interesting to see if this has anything to do with friendly URLs being used or not. In the first case, at least, they were NOT being used.

After a fresh install (base, without the demo site), the main page is not valid XHTML (if you click on the W3C validator link, you get one error :
Line 63 column 7: end tag for "p" omitted, but OMITTAG NO was specified.

            A shame, isn’t it ? laugh

LOL... now that’s not anything I’m remotely worried about, but it’ll be different in the next release that contains new templates.

Maybe this message was directed to me... but I’m sorry, it’s too late, because I restored my backup and I’m back to MODx 0.9.0.

There were other problems in my 0.9.2 install:

                • The websignup snippets did not display the captcha words as defined in the manager (MODx settings) anymore; they were replaced by some standard words that, if I’m not wrong, are defined in an included PHP file. Notice that I did not overwrite the weblogin files in assets/snippets/weblogin (because I use a modified version of them).
                • I use a snippet which displays the RTE widget (FCKEditor) associated with a TV in order to take html input from the user. After the upgrade, the RTE didn’t show up anymore, and was replaced by an ordinary text field.

I have not investigated these problems. Possibly something went wrong during the setup, but I did not get any error message. I don’t know if the following information can be useful: my hosting company uses a localized version of MySQL, and thus MySQL error messages are in italian undecided

FYI, the weblinks issues have been identified and resolved and a new release and patch will be available shortly.

Until I can get the packages ready, here is a link to an SVN changeset view from Trac describing the change necessary to get weblinks working again if they are not working for you after the 0.9.2 upgrade.

                      http://mirror1.cvsdude.com/trac/rethrash/tattoo/changeset/1004

Please note, the rest of this Trac-based site is not accessible and I simply made this available for quick reference for those who need to fix the issue quickly.
