    Great news wink

One thing: Could you please include the language file for german from here (latest post from netnoise), because otherwise it will not work with german "Umlaute" like ä,ö,ü.

    Thanks and go on!

In the coming days we’re going to start the fixed language string replacement process and I’ll send out a new language template and diff file from the previous one based on 0.9.1 actually. There will be a lot of updates for the files with the next release. smiley

I’m having a quite annoying problem with MODx 0.9.2: weblinks don’t seem to work anymore. They just output an empty page with the URL they should point to.

You can see the problem with your eyes pointing your browser to http://www.roma21.it/index.php?id=265.

          Thank you very much smiley

Very odd Commodore64 -- it looks like somehow your weblink got changed to a document type in the site_content table. Which really doesn’t make any sense, because nothing should be changing that data in site_content. Does the page show as a link in the manager or as a document? Easy fix would be to change the site_content.type field back to ’reference’ if that is not the current value.

So far I am unable to reproduce any switching of content types on upgrade; if you have any additional information that might help me reproduce the issue, I’d be glad to take care of it.

                Thanks a lot, Jason.

My weblinks still have type "reference" in the DB, and are correctly managed as weblinks by the manager.
It is the parser which doesn’t work properly. This is true for both pre-existing weblinks and for newly created ones.

If it can help, I upgraded from 0.9.0 directly to 0.9.2, and I’m using Italian as the manager language.

Just as a temporaty fix: can I revert my installation to 0.9.1 by uploading the 0.9.1 files?

No -- there are db structure changes in this release, so you’d also need to restore your database from before the upgrade. This is very odd; I cannot reproduce any problems with WebLinks on new installations or upgrades with this build. huh

I’m trying...let me know if you see anything else that might indicate why this behavior is occuring on your site. Did you run the upgrade install script? Did you update all of the snippets/default content, or did you uncheck all of those snippets? Any additional information that might help me reproduce...?

Nope. I’ve tried to repeat the update process, to disable all the plugins, but the problem remains.

If you are interested and you have some time, I can PM you a manager account, so that you can make all the tests you want.
But don’t worry for me: I have a backup of my site just before the upgrade. I will revert to my working install (and DB) in a few hours, if the problem is not fixed.
