Support/Comments for SWFObject

Actually i got it to work! For some odd reason the manager was adding and bunch of span tags with the class modxtag inside the snippet call.... any idea what would have caused that?

Can you explain a bit more ? I never had this problem myself. And for Mike, it was showing even when not logged to the manager.

The QuickEdit plugin puts those tags for its purposes. If the page is cached when you’re logged in, it will always have those. Best to get in the habit of always clearing the site cache before you log out of the manager.

Did a search for SWFobject and IE6, seems every page I have with an SWFobject can’t even load in IE6. Known issue, and is there a fix?

I had this problem and resolved it by adding defer="defer" to the javascript declaration. This needs to be done in the swfobject.class.php file in two places (well actually only the mode that you use but minus well do it for both modes). Look for:
