Hello, could anybody give me a hand here?

I’ve tested my swf file outside of modx and it worked alright, but when I called the swfobject snippet and tested my page in modx the swfobject express install said I would have to install flash player 9. Ok, I downloaded flash 9 again (which I already had installed), and now the page keeps "transferring data from fpdownload.macromedia.com..." No swf shown =(

here`s my current snippet call

[[SWFObject? &mode=`dynamic` &flashVersion=`9` &objId=`flashtop` &objWidth=`690` &objHeight=`220` &altContent=`altcont` &swfFile=`images/onoff.swf`]]

I tried to use the uncached [!...!] notation and it didn’t work at all, the page would just display the snippet call itself

I tried it and I found that, to avoid this, you can use:

`9` and `9.0` values don’t work but I don’t know why because there isn’t any problem with other version numbers.
I will check it deeper to find if it is a snippet problem or SWFObject javascript problem.

Is it somehow possible to play flv files with the SWFObject snippet, or is it only for swf files?

It seemed to me that major.minor and major was working when I tried, but I was wrong, sorry for that.
I corrected my documentation in repository.

Ths snippet embeds swf only, but you can embed a flv player which is a swf file : that’s what I do, using this player : http://www.jeroenwijering.com/?item=JW_FLV_Media_Player

OK, but when I call the player how can I see the movie in it.
