      Impossible is nothing - with ModX

      Currently have SMF Forum Integration installed. The forum is the ’member’s area’, accessible only to registered users. I’m using SMFssi (http://modxcms.com/SMFssi-1143.html) to provide the login from a standard web page into the forum (www.mysite.com/forum), however how do I stop a web user from bypassing my login page and going directly to /forum without password protecting this directory??
        Mostly harmless.

        Remove the login from the SMF template. I also think there’s instructions on the SMF site somewhere on redirecting logins to another location or something like that.

            Thanks...

              While I can log into the forum now, I can’t logout! When I disabled SMF Forum Integration the logout works (but then I can’t login as there’s no smf login displayed on the smf front page - not that I removed the smf login as you suggested).

                I have a similar problem: I can only log out if I use Internet Explorer 6 (haven’t tried IE7 though). Firefox and Safari won’t logout from SMF. And it doesn’t matter if I use the log out function in MODx or the one in SMF.

                I haven’t tried other browsers yet, but this kind of sucks.

                Since it works in IE, I suspect that it might be a JavaScript issue, and that isn’t exactly my forte. Does anyone have a clue?

                  Ditto for Mac Opera and Camino! Maybe this module has only been tested on PCs?

                    How I can run this code in modx?
                    <?php

                    require(dirname(__FILE__) . '/forum/SSI.php');

                    ?>
                    <?php ssi_topBoards(); ?>
