I think because we’re confused. That table is part of your smf installation, which looks like it uses your modx database. Can you run phpmyadmin on your site, see if that table exists?

I’m not sure... but maybe I have to install smf into the modx database? Is it the problem?

Ok, it looks like maybe a bug in the module that is swapping the SMF db name for the Modx name. I don’t have time at the moment, but will try to look into it later.

No, you don’t need SMF installed in your Modx db, and I would think you’d want to keep them separate.

I have a report on the french side of the same problem :
                    http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,3657.msg28367.html#msg28367

it seems to happen only when MODx and SMF are in separate databases. Vax tried edited smf.admin.class.inc.php int the loginSMFAdminPanel() function and added $db_name=’db_name’; but it didn’t solve it.

Can anyone confirm this bug and a way to solve it ?

                      Hello

not exactly, that solves the problem but I find that it’s not clean. The good solution is elsewhere, more new tomorrow.
