Since it is based on PayPal it has full advantage of all the payment features that PayPayl provides. The customer can pay with credit card OR PayPal account. As far as I know, PayPal does not support cash on delivery. All orders would have to be paid in full at checkout time. For advanced features you may want to look into a top tier solution such as FoxyCart (Absolutely INCREDIBLE!!!). For a small to medium size store (0-100 or so products), Treasure Chest will give you the ability to start selling from your website immediately without the hassle of setting up a secure server, SSL certificate, Merchant ID account, and payment gateway, which means less overhead & monthly costs and more $$$ for you!

Well, lots of my clients are small to medium businesses, I am pretty sure TreasureChest will cut it for them. Like I often say, if it’s not usable it’s not used and more often than not, cluttered solutions are not used (or require to hire qualified people, which is costy to those small biz...).

This is exactly what i need. Though I need no paypal. It is for a bring service.
I know foxycart, it*s great but does not fit for a german shop right now. For shopx or modxCart i haven*t found a current version to download or a howto to build it. So I thought to use TreasureChest to escape from a fat eC system.

Do you see any way to implement MODx documents as product templates so that you would not have to use a separate MODx document for every product?

For a shop with products numbering in the hundreds, it would be a welcome and probably necessary addition to your solution.

$20 is a good price, even for small business.

Had a little trouble figuring out how to style the "view cart" link block, but I downloaded your demo page’s css and saw how you did it. Should be a regular template to do that, actually. I would like to be able to display the total amount as well as the number of items.

Scotty, this looks superb and will suit a project I am currently pitching for as long as Paypal is OK for the client (fingers firmly crossed). Do you have any plans at all to extend this to integrate any other payment gateways in the future. My reason for asking is that my client may wish to ramp it up to a more "pro" gateway solution if the site I’m proposing does well for him. It would obviously be of added value if he could do this without having to ditch a system that he’s already shelled out for.

Nice video by the way - it’s sold TC to me.
