    Another thought.
    I wonder if having a TV for each TC placeholder attached to the template, but not showing on the page might work.
    Then you could use the TV’s in the Ditto summary, without inheriting any formatting.

      I thought about that too. At first glance, tt seemed kinda kludgy, but perhaps not. . .

      So could the TV have a default value = to the TC placeholder? How would you populate the TV?

        Don’t know if setting up TV’s would work but...
        Create a TV named [*TCamount*] as Input Type: Text with a default value of [+treasure.amount+]
        Assign it to your Product Page Template
        Add the place holder [+TCamount+] to the Ditto tpl
        Then see if the value will be pulled through to your Ditto summary page

          Yes! I just tried exactly that. The data passes through to the ditto output.

          Perfect!

          I’ll have to see if image thumb works the same way.

            Yes, the image thumb comes through to the ditto summary page as well as the thickbox effect.

                Well there’s seems to be a hitch in this. . .

                On the product page, the content area contains the TC call and the chunk containing the TC place holders. I’ve also created TVs that have default values equal to the TC place holders.

                It seems the ditto call will only display the TC values from the TVs if the [+content+] place holder is also in the ditto tpl.

                The result is that ditto outputs the content area (containing the TC values) AND it also outputs the TV values containing TC info.

                If I remove the [+content+] place holder from the ditto tpl, then TV content is not displayed either.

                Thoughts?

                  Not sure what u trying to do, but my way using ditto was to view the source of the product page and copy the TC part into the same page introtext, then use the introtext in the ditto call template and you got all the parameters.

                  ie

                    I was trying to see if I could manipulate/position/style the TC output via Ditto tpl vs just calling the formatted output from the product page.

                    If I understand your approach correctly, you put the TC ouput in the introtext which does enable you to display just the TC out put (vs the entire content) in the ditto summary but it is still pre-formatted.

                    It seems that ditto can only display the TC output in the same format as the product page.

                    So I (and Bunk58’s suggestion as well) was trying to populate TVs on the product page by using the TC placeholders as default input values. Then call those TVs in the ditto tpl rather than the content of the product page. However, the TV don’t come through to the ditto summary unless the content placeholder is also included in the tpl, in which case it is shown twice.

                      Anyone have idea why [[treasureChest? &item=`6`]] shows all the products? I checked that ID 6 exists.
