I needed to have multilanguage capabilities in the registration form, so I’ve added options to the registration snippet to allow using a chunk as a template for the form using placeholders, and to set a lang variable to override the default in the config.php file.

My hosting company allows a maximum execution time for scripts of 1.5 seconds.
The last Mailing List script I used was a very, very simple Pearl script. The problem is that
I have more than 4000 addresses in my mailing list and the old script only sends out around
500 Mails because then it reaches the 1.5 seconds.
Will this problem also occur with KoopsMailinglist?
Impossible is nothing - with ModX

I have no idea. The core of this is Koops Mailinglist; you will need to either ask him, or give it a try and see.
You may find that you need to subscribe to a mailing service. It will cost, but with that many subscribers it’s asking a bit much for mailing "on the cheap".

Yes, you’ve got safe mode on in your PHP, and it won’t let you change the time limit for the script to run.
Ah, right.
And how would I go about turning safe mode off then?

Now, all I need it to do is to collect more info i.e. firstname, surname, company name and URL! Anyone done this already before I start mangling code?
I am in the Admin menu - List which list the subscribers. Problem, at the bottom of the list is the number of pages, when I click on 2 it does not list page 2, same for 3 and the other pages. The only page displayed is 1. I tested this in serveral browers on both the pc and mac and it’s still a problem. When I hover over the 2, 3, etc I see that the l value is changing and looks correct. I don’t know what else to check so I can’t fix it. Anyone have a suggestion?
