  nothing so far. i’m already using eform for a contact form, so i’m guessing that’s complicating things. i’m getting the form with the checkbox, but regardless of whether the box is checked or not, i get returned to the empty form again. no email is being sent out. i’m just using the snippet call as you recommended.
  
  additionally, i can’t get the From or Reply To to be the submitter’s email address. i’m sure i’m missing something here - what does ’&replyto=`fldEmail` refer to? so far i’ve been using the input name but the from is always the same as the To, and reply-to does not appear or change at all.

  Are you using the latest (1.3) eForm version? http://modxcms.com/eForm-1003.html
  
  Can you post your form and snippet call? I’ll have a look if I can get it to work here.

  i was not using 1.3, and that at least resolved the reply-to issue. here is the code for the checkbox stuff:

  Your hidden field "formid" needs to have the same value as the &formid in the snippet call. You don’t need the placeholders in the form fields, instead use the pseudo-attribute eform="...", like this:

  thanks for the tips on the form. still no change - no error or validation messages, or emails being sent. just goes back to the empty form.

  @ arphaus, this might help or not but I had a similar problem with the previous version of eform (with parser) and it worked when I removed the "id" fields from the form:

  I’m far from being a programmer but it worked for me although I have no clue why…

  thanks - i’m far from being a programmer myself, and i think that’s something i need to rectify. unfortunately, your suggestion didn’t seem to change anything, but i do appreciate the help.

  It looks like your form action is blank. I think it needs to be <form method="post" action="[~[*id*]~]">
  
  Maybe that will help.
