[Snippet] eForm - The Electronic form Snippet

  Hi,
  
  I hope this is the right place to post my question.
  
  My host recently upgraded the server from php v5.1.6 to php v5.2.1.
  
  Since he did this, the CAPTCHA images on the eForm-generated contact forms on my ModX sites have stopped working properly.
  
  An image is displayed, but there is no readable text on it ... all that I can see is a lot of small and feint php code. I’ve attached an example.
  
  Can anyone help me to figure out what to do to get the CAPTCHA images working again properly?

  That’s just the background image from the "noise" folder I believe. I wonder if the GD version has been changed when updating to PHP 5.2.1.

  GD wasn’t upgraded when php was upgraded. Do you think that we should have upgraded GD too?
  
  FYI, our current version numbers are as follows:
  
  gd-2.0.33-2
  freetype-2.1.9-2

  Hello! We are running:
  
  MODx version 0.9.5
  Version codename rev 2106
  
  have this on our contact page:

  The form would not send anything to any email address that we could see.
  
  So, we decided that perhaps the eForm needed updating.
  
  So, we replaced all the pages, etc on the server with the new pages. Then when we visit the contact page we see:
  
  WARNING! The version of the eForm snippet (version: prior to 1.4.2) is different from the included eForm file (version: 1.4.3). Please make sure you use the same version for both.
  
  At that point, we copied the text from the .tpl document into the eForm 1.4.2 snippet in the MODx backend.
  
  Now, we get this error after pasting in the code and hitting save:
  
  Forbidden
  You don’t have permission to access /manager/index.php on this server.
  
  Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
  Apache/1.3.37 Server at www.dzynlab.com Port 80
  
  We also tried creating a new snippet and get the same Forbidden Error.
  
  Please help!

  Your server has mod_security set up, and it has a hissy fit whenever it sees anything to do with email being POSTed. There are a number of threads discussing this, with some fixes, just do a search for "mod_security".

  hi there, i know that eform (143) supports email attachments but i can’t find any documentation on how to implement this. can anyone point me in the right direction please?

  Anybody solved that issue already? I have got exactly the same problem: [(site_name)] gets not rendered into the actual site name but "[(site_name)]" is showed in the ContactFormReport email instead...
