    I did the installation twice, i dont have a file eFormparser.inc.php. Andif i open the .zip file, theres no one to find.

    You can get it from this post: http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,2122.msg40494.html#msg40494
    Edit: Read the "disclaimer" in that post before installing. And also, I’m actually not sure if these are the latest files, but I believe so.

    Or install latest 0.95beta, then you’ll automaticly get the latest version of eForm and eForm parser.

    I know it very confusing, and it’s easy to miss the updated package in the middle of this thread!

    After install, follow the instructions on the previos page in this thread. Page 1-13 are not very interesteing if you just want to get started with eForm.

    @TobyL: Thank you for telling me all about eForm, now I can give the support as you can see wink

        [[eForm? &to=`[email protected]` &gotoid=`2` &tpl=`KONTAKT` &formid=’EMAIL’]]

        Your &formid parameter should be enclosed in backticks, not single-quotes.

          Hi members,

          Thank you all for suggesting me with solutions to my previous post...

          Currently,

          When an email is sent from the form (using eform) I face the following issues...

          1. The vericode does not validate
          2. The images do not show up in the email message.
          3. The HTML of the "Report" is output as raw HTML (even in outlook)

          Sample of the delivered message is as under.

          From: someone <[email protected]>
          Message-ID: <[email protected]>

          X-Priority: 3

            Almost finnished with my form, everyting works great, including sending lage size files and verification messages in swedish. smiley

            Just one problem left, and I don’t know if it has samething todo with eForm or not, but I ask anyway:

            When using special characters (like swedish åäö) they look very strange (like ä) when arriving in my mailbox. Can I fix it somehow?

            I’ve tried to search the forum, but didn’t find anything usefull. Maybe it’s a php configuration problem, if so I look up some php forum and ask there.

            EDIT [SOLVED]: I just change to "utf-8" in class.phpmailer.php
            From: var $CharSet = "iso-8859-1";
            To: var $CharSet = "utf-8";

              Hi.

              I’m not sure if I found a bug or I don’t know how to use eForm+eFormParser correctly.

              I have a chunk as a template for an email form with something like these:
              <select name="subject">
              	<option value="Feedback">Feedback</option>
              	<option value="Questions">Questions</option>
              </select>

              The email form page renders correctly, but the opening option tags have a backslash at the end, like this:
              <option value="Feedback"/>Feedback</option>
              <option value="Questions"/>Questions</option>

              So the page is not XHTML valid anymore.

              Any ideas? I’m using the eForm+eFormParser that come with the latest beta (rev 1417).

              edit:
              I tried using [(site_name)] in a report chunk, but it doesn’t get converted to the site’s name in the email. Is this the desired behaviour of the snippet?

                Hi,

                Are the images regular file attachments that was upload from your web form?

                    Thanks dimmy,

                    I did update the php mailer class and it works fine.

                    I have certain queries about the eform, i’m not very techie so they may sound very basic smiley

                    1. Can I create a send to friend kind of form with eform?
                    2. How can I add the option of multiple file attachments (similar to the modx forum functionality for file attachments, with a max no. of files)
                    3. Can I not send the form data by email and have it written to the datatbase or a flat file.

                    Thanks a tonne for this great snippet, I have just begun to discover it’s capabilities. It is so very flexible.

                    I truly love this snippet and modx.

                    warm regards,

                    -Raavi

                      1) Yes

                      2) You can only limit file size, not max number of files i think.

                      3) Not at this time.
