Anyone want to update the repository with this? Sounds like a solid update that could help folks tremendously.

Version 0.7.2.3 works with IE and FF but not with chrome.
i tried to get it works but it didn’t.
after a hour i noticed i work with chrome so i switched to ff and ie and it works afterall.
but like i said not with chrome.
netProphET perfect tip.
i just downloaded the new version of editarea and copied it.
it works.
very nice job indeed
no mail. no icq, no aim, no msn, no yim, no sms, no phone, no fax, no telex, no satellite.... just yell

I can confirm that I also just replaced the old version of EditArea plugin code with the new version and now it works with Chrome too. (Ctrl-s to save wasn’t working, but that might just be my setup.)

ctrl-s works fine with me, but i find a little bug indeed.
if zou switch to full screen, it will return to smal screen after saving.
maybe it should be a basic config item to keep in fullscreen and this should not be wanted by anyone.
but after saving this would be nice.
an expansionidea: i like to save the old text version seperatly. like version control.
has anyone tried this or is my idea just stupid?

Wrapping lines doesn’t seem to be working for me in the latest version, the option isn’t showing up.
Do I need to set this up some where else?
I’m using FF3.
Line wrapping never has been possible as far as I know. I contacted the author of EditArea some time ago about this. Apparently he spent many hours trying to implement line wrapping using javascript in a way which would work cross platform but never succeeded. I think there’s some info in the release notes or readme about this.
Is it possible to enable EditArea while using the File Manager (Resources/Manage Files) when editing files?
