Unless you have control of the server to change this configuration to enable URL file-access, this likely isn’t going to work for you.

what double sucks is that I had an older version that was working ok and went to upgrade this

my error-  Error : PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature

why is this still available???????

That would be useful info: I was looking at getfield, which needs this to install ...

I don’t think that ScottyD’s Resource Wizard will be further developed. However, a completely updated installation system for one-click installs of even complete (and complex!) bundles of snippets, content, plugins, template variables, etc. will be available in Revolution. Revo alpha 4 was released yesterday, too.

Could you please advise to my problem that seems very naïve ... but I can do nothing with it ! I’ve installed MODx Resource Wizard 1.8.5 and tried to install SkinGraft_1.0.1 (at modx 0.9.6.3 site installed on my local server Denver). According to instruction (at http://www.modxcms.com/www.modxcms.com/MODx-Resource-Wizard-1.0-1123.html) that MODx Resource Wizard packages should be zip files and named
[something].modxpkg.zip, I rename the downloaded package SkinGraft_1.0.1.zip to skingraft.modxpkg.zip (and then even to SkinGraft_1.0.1.modxpkg.zip), but in all cases the MODx Resource Wizard answers me “This does not appear to be a valid MODx Resource Wizard package”. The same answer I have while trying to install any other package (Andreas02_Template_2.0.zip), downloaded from MODx Repository. Could you please help and explain this trouble? Many thanks in advance.
