PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!! How to

Update: A breakthrough for me

Only had to do with one key on the keyboard:
"`" - Acute, Back quote, grave, grave accent, left quote, open quote, or a push

I was using the single quotation mark for inputting parameters ( ’ ) instead of that character and the script wouldn’t work.

Anyway, now I can finally use the script, but I’m sure there will be a lot more trouble ahead. Nevertheless, I learned a lot and I am working on that beginners guide to hopefully help others.

Ah, the old mistaken "backtick" issue. I think I did that once back in my old days (although that was less than a year ago ).

That backtick has caused more mistakes in parameters than anything else I can think of.

It is, however, a beautiful, elegant solution. The backtick is very rarely used in normal typing which makes it perfect for this application. No need to escape quotes (which I think all the developers here would agree) would create more headaches than the backtick.

I gotta admit... I am a backtick fan!

I didn’t feel like opening up Paint.NET to make a backtick, so I found a small image on Google and had the Motivator script blow it up.

Can’t say that I blame you there, I’ve never felt the inclination to open anything.NET

That program is actually good, though (even though it uses .NET). Kinda like a free Photoshop (with some plugins installed), but w/out the crappy and unintuitive layout of GIMP.

There’s GimpShop, which is said to be more like Photoshop. Being a Mac user, I really like Seashore.
