WebLoginPE (1.3.0): Advanced WebUser Management and Extended Profiling.

This is a small patch for webloginpe.class.php that will resize an uploaded image to fit *within* the desired height and width without skewing the pic. So if you want an 1000x800 pixel image to be resized within 100x100, it will generate a 100x80 image. I prefer this to a distorted 100x100 pic. If you want the pic to keep its proportions, pass a true value (like 1) as a fourth argument to the &userImage parameter, e.g. &userImage=`524288, 120, 300, 1`.

I hope this could be included in the next version; and if it’s already possible without a patch, please let me know!

As an aside ... I too would really like to see auto-login on registration. And isn’t it time that WebLoginPE had its own subforum? This thread is getting a bit unwieldy ...

The "Private" issue I still can’t solve...in the database, what text should be in the field for emailprivate, so I can see if something is going wrong there?

Hmm...it shows "on" in the database, I dunno what’s causing this issue...the fields are all done right. Is it supposed to be userPrivateEmail or userProfilePrivateEmail?

For some reason, it seems like the checkbox is working, because it’s setting the value to "on" in the database. But it’s not reaching the lang file which would give it the value of "Private". Does WLPE have any sort of debug option that would show what the script is doing and we might be able to debug it that way.

[...]I am developing a site with XAMPP locally, and on the profile editing page, on the portion that allows you to change your password, the first line of the new password is populated. I’m not sure with what as it comes up **** but didn’t know if anyone else was having this issue.

Second question, can I disable the registration process for users that aren’t authorized. What I am envisioning here is to create the basic webuser info in the admin section, which would create the basic info for the authorized users, so that if someone that is not authorized comes across the "registration is required" section, and they aren’t authorized, then it lets them know that and kicks them out? Or am I just confused from lack of sleep and MODxing all day and night and simple way is just to disable the registration process?
