thanks guys for reporting your issue-details. I can’t reproduce it on mine. So I think too, its a timing issue.

Does it still call the migx-connector twice, when you comment this two lines out in migx.tpl:

  //this.on('show',this.onShow,this);
    this.addEvents({
        success: true
        ,failure: true
        ,beforeSubmit: true
	,hide:true
	//,show:true
    });

what happens, if you do so?

It seems to load it in twice (and fail visually) regardless of wether they are commented out or not. They weren’t commented out by default.

I get a slightly different result. When the lines are commented as you requested and I removed the css fix, the migx panel failed toload as before. However if I refresh the page in Firefox with the net panel open it does work properly and the connector is only posted to once. Most of the time; about 1 go in 10 this will result in a double post to the connector and a visual failure of migx.

If I reload the page with Firebug open on the DOM panel, then when it has loaded switch to the Net panel, clear it, switch back to the Dom panel and then click Add Item then migx fails to load. Switching to the Net panel shows that the connector has been posted to twice (both returning 200 OK).

If I disable Firebug and restart the browser, on the first load migx works and on subsequent ones it fails.

I´m using something similar to the "getResources - tpl" from http://rtfm.modx.com/display/ADDON/MIGX.Frontend-Usage#MIGX.Frontend-Usage-getResourcestpl

on a container page. In this container are symlinks to other resources. On container pages with "normal" resources everything goes the expected way.
But on the page with symlinks in a container I´m getting all HTML output, except the src="" in the img tag. Is the &docid= [[+id]] part in the getImageList call not working with symlinks? Is there a workaround?

I really like to get rid of the symlinks anyway. But I can´t find out a way to get my menu working with out wayfinder and symlinks.

I don’t know, if this will work, but you can try something like this:

yes, a bit weird, right? Maybe not the right topic for this, but to explain why I´m doing this.
I like to sort my portfolio pages by years and sections and I like to have a menu which looks the same on every page and is showing the active category/subcategory up to the two main sorting points (years, sections). The only way I have found is to have the pages in a structure like that:

-sections (container)
--section1(container)
---resource21
---resource11
--section2 (container)
---resource18
---resource15
...
-years (container)
--2010 (container)
---symlink to resource21
---symlink to resource18
--2009 (container)
---symlink to resource11
...

With that I can use Wayfinder for the menus. My pages have tags for category and year etc. So I can select them with getResources, but I can´t figure out how to show the active menu points and stay in the years sorting if I´m showing e.g. the resources with &tvFilters on container 2010.
As said maybe not the right topic for that.
But thank you Bruno for your help.

having issues with migx editor window failing visually in mgr (seeing connector called twice as well in firebug when that happens) haven’t tried to comment things out yet.

You can list them under your year-containers with getResources. To make the years active, when you are on the subresource you can do in the getResources-chunk sometinng like that
for years, if you have a TV named year and the year as pagetitle for your yearfolders:

[[+pagetitle:is=`[[*year]]`:then=`class="active"`:else=``]]

and for the resourcelinks:

[[+id:is=`[[*id]]`:then=`class="active"`:else=``]]

So, for everyone who’s experiencing the MIGX visual break (random non appearance of add/edit item window) I think I have a fix:

core/components/migx/elements/tv/migx.tpl:

comment the lines (around line 452):
//this.syncSize();
//this.popwindow.syncSize();

it still calls the connector 2 times (i wonder why) but at least it doesnt break visually for me anymore and clients can edit tvs without issues...

Bruno17 - you might want to investigate this further.

I am using the Git version of MIGX on MODX 2.1.1-pl behaves like this accross Chrome and FF browsers haven’t tested others.

Hi,

I have installed the MIGX plugin (which looks great btw) and added the example code to the "form Tabs" and "Grid Colums fields to my MIGX TV and assigned it to a template.
I have created the two TVs "image" and "richtext".
I have entered two sets of info each with an image but am experiencing two problems:

1. Images are not showing up on the web page (they show up when I select them in the manager),
2. The second caption is renedering in a different font style to the rest of the headings/captions.

I have read through this post but am even more confused now (especially regarding "OnTVInputPropertiesList", I can’t find this anywhere or know if it is relevant here??).

Can anyone offer any insight as to what I have done wrong or have missed here?
