Hi Bruno! thank you for responding my message. I´ve already solve it!! It was my mistake (two wrong doble apostrophes on the form tabs that apparently broke the extension php code). It`s working again like a charm. If you need the code anyway, let me know please. Thanks again fo all your work!

Have just tried the above tutorial and when I click to add a new row I'm getting the following error.

Fatal error: Call to a member function setPlaceholder() on a non-object in /home/supportt/public_html/core/model/modx/modtemplatevar.class.php on line 1110

This is using the latest 2.2 nightly

Ok going from the above tutorial, is it possible to make one of the tables a file upload ( for a pdf )

Code I am using is as follows:

Input options:

[{
  "caption":"manuals",
  "fields": [{
    "field":"description",
    "caption":"Description"
  },{
    "field":"size",
    "caption":"Size"
  },{
    "field":"language",
    "caption":"Language"
 },{
    "field":"file",
    "caption":"File"
  }]
}]

Grid Columns:

{"header": "Description", "width": "550", "sortable": "false", "dataIndex": "description"},
{"header": "Size", "width": "50", "sortable": "false", "dataIndex": "size"},
{"header": "Language", "width": "50", "sortable": "false", "dataIndex": "language"},
{"header": "File", "width": "50", "sortable": "false", "dataIndex": "file"}
]

I basicly need the last one ( file ) to be able to upload a file.

you need just to create a file-TV without any template-binding.
name it for example 'manualfile' and use this TV for the file-field like that:

,{
    "field":"file",
    "caption":"File",
    "inputTV":"manualfile"
  }

Thats given me the ability to upload a file however it's not pulling anything into that part of the table now,

In my chunk I've tried the following 2 calls:

<tr>
  <td>[[+description]]</td>
  <td>[[+size]]</td><td>[[+language]]</td><td>[[+manualfile]]</td>
</tr>

<tr>
  <td>[[+description]]</td>
  <td>[[+size]]</td><td>[[+language]]</td><td>[[+file]]</td>
</tr>

Appreciate the help

should be the correct placeholder for the field "file"

what do you get, when calling getImageList without the tpl-property?
