you can use mysql-union to combine an empty row with your result.
I would use a snippet, something like that:

$parent='3';
$sortby='pagetitle';

$c = $modx->newQuery('modResource');
$c->where(array('parent'=>$parent));
$c->sortby($sortby);
$collection = $modx->getCollection('modResource',$c);

$output='kein Artikel==0';
foreach ($collection as $o){
$output .= '||'.$o->get('pagetitle').','.$o->get('publishedon').'=='.$o->get('id');
}
return $output;

or getResources or rowBoat for other tables to create the options-list.

Hi everyone! I'm a web designer working on my first modx website. I'm using MIGX to upload multiple images for a slide (nivo slider). I had have everything working like a charm, the extension is really was I was looking for, but suddenly the backend started to fail. Clicking the "add item" button just loads an empty popup with only the h2 title "TV". The html code of that shows a lots of divs and inside of them an empty form. I`ve read the migx threads without finding something like this, I've read of failures on the backend but those that triggers and error message, I'm just getting an empty popup. I`ve already updated migx to latest version with no luck, I bet is a newbie mistake, but I'm pretty lost alone with this.

I'm using modx revo 2.1.3.pl

My TV for migx is called dm-portfolioSliderImgTV, input type: migx, with this form tabs:

and this grid columns:

Having major problems trying to get my head round this so if someone could help me out that would be great.

What I need it to be able to create a tr on the fly so a client can simply add a new one, the tr will consist of 5 td's can I add the 5td's as a default value so that the client can just click a button to add more ?

I'm not sure to understand you correctly...

If you have 5 fields, one for each

<td>

you want to have a default value, for each

<td>

another one.

when he clicks add new item, the fields should be filled with that default-values and he can change them, when needed?

Hi Bruno,

I think my problem is I dont understand the addon.

What I want to do is create a chunk with the top table code in it, then the call to the MIGX and then the bottom table bit, then when the client want's to add a new table row he simply clicks a button to add the new tr td and simply fills in the details but as I've said I have no idea how to set it up ;(
