    Hi Sinbad:

Thanks for the tip: I’ve tried, but same result.
(Also realised - so new to Modx - I was using closing quotes, rather than two ` at end of tag parameters. Changing from this helps, but not right yet.)

what u mean two ` ? there should be only one back tick &example=`1`

I should have written second (rather than two) ` so I’d used things like &example=`1’ now changed to &example=`1`

currently, my snippet call is this:

        [!TvTagCloud? &parent=`66,67,68` &depth=`10` &landing=`71` &tagDelim=` ` &tvTags=`documentTags` &showCount=`1`!]

        - I see a list of tags generated on page where I use the snippet; but the tagcloud page (number 71) just has "No documents found"
        Has a URL like: www.example.com/tag-cloud.html&tags=tagword

What is the current Ditto call on the landing page(ID:71, Alias:tag-cloud.html) ?

            [!Ditto? &parent=`0` &tagData=`tvdocTags` &tagDelimiter=`,`!]

just tried changing parent nos to 66,67,68, as in my tvtagcloud call, and delimiter to space, but no better

Why TV names which holds tag data are different ?
&tvTags=`documentTags` for TvTagCloud and &tagData=`tvdocTags` for Ditto ?

instructions within the 2.1.1 file say to use something like
                [!TvTagCloud? &parent=`1` &landing=`22` &tvTags=`docTags` &showCount=`1`!]
                as the tvtagcloud call; and
                [!ditto? &startID=`1` &tagData=`tvdocTags` &tagDelimiter=`,`!]
                on the landing page

                - while I revised docTags to documentTags, as per my template instructions, I figured tvdocTags would be generated by tvtagcloud.
Just tried documentTags in landing page code; no joy.

[as mentioned above, there’s some confusion/conflict in instructions, inc discrepancies between info on webpage and in the file; also, on webpage, code includes "amp;" - rather seemed to me, then, that modx people can use snippets etc with no need for instructions!]

                  I think ...

                  1. The ’parent’ parameter of TvTagCloud and the ’parents (or startID)’ parameter of Ditto
have to have the same document ID under which there are documents to be listed.
                  2. The ’tvTags’ parameter of TvTagCloud and the ’tagData’ parameter of Ditto
have to have the same name of TV which holds tag data.
                  3. The ’tagDelim’ parameter of TvTagCloud and the ’tagDelimiter’ parameter of Ditto
have to have the same delimiter character.
If you use the widget of delimited list for the TV which holds tags,
use the specified delimiter in your widget setting for these parameters.
The ’,’ is default for TvTagCloud.

                    Hi TKFM:

thanks for the reply; been slow to respond, as little time lately for modx site.
Think I have set up as the points you made. Even tried making my own TV for tags, calling it docTags, but got same result.
As n when I’ve time, will have another look

I’ve posted a new version of the script (2.1.3), which incorporates all the bug fixes and new code suggested on this thread.
