I am about to install a new site and was wondering if you are planning an update to E2G in the next few days or if I should install the current release?

Hi, I am using slideshow galleryview with config filmstrip, and I would like to show full size image in floatbox after click on thumb.
I managed to change <a href> path in galleryview.php to:

<li><a class="floatbox"  href="' . $_ssFile['src'][$i] .'">
                    <img src="' . $_ssFile['thumbsrc'][$i] . '" alt="' . $_ssFile['name'][$i] . '" title="' . $_ssFile['title'][$i] . '" />
                </a>
            </li>';

but it behaves very strangely. Some images are shown in floatbox window, some in new browser window. Dont know why....

isn’t that because the script isn’t loaded yet?
if u w8 till whole page is loaded do you have the same problem?

I’m doing the code audit thoroughly. I have a feeling that the script runs slower.
Although I bet you’ll love the next release, I’m not sure the time completion will meet your deadline.
So for now, I recommend you to use this current release.

Check the slideshow’s config, perhaps the script’s ’autoload’ checkbox isn’t checked.

try to load the page mayn times.. no difference. Float box works only for some (and still the same) images

to Goldsky:
where can I find this Checkbox? It is not in e2g config...

edit: I found the checkbox in viewer config, but maybe problem is that I am using flaotbox 3.52 instead of default 4.04 (replaced folders). Is it possible to reconfig e2g to work with FB 3.52?
Another config is in CONFIG->THUMBNAILS->JS LIbrary... I am not able to change it to anything, it always go back to highslide after save...

Another problem with e2g. On main page I have two ditto calls and e2g. There is probably conflict between them..
it gives me this error:

snippet calls wrong gallery id:1, order, or wrong limit.
SELECT * FROM modx_easy2_files WHERE dir_id IN (1) AND width/height >=0,4 AND width/height<=1,5 AND status = 1 ORDER BY date_added ASC LIMIT 0, 6
You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '4 AND width/height<=1,5 AND status = 1 ORDER BY date_added ASC LIMIT 0, 6' at line 1

BUT, it works if I set one ditto call uncached:
[!ditto1!] - works
[[ditto1]] - dont work
if I add another ditto cal, it doesnt work at all
[!ditto2!] - dont work
[[ditto2]] - dont work

the checkbox is under the header’s text area, on Slideshow’s config page.

what is your e2g’s snippet call?

ah, yes, sorry.
I confused with the viewer settings.

I guess the problem is the 0.4-1.5.
Your keyboard perhaps sets . (dot) as , (comma).
MySQL rejects it.

I dont think, that problem is in coma or dot... It doesnt work with either of them.
Auto load checkbox is checked in viewer config.
This doesnt help at all....

My slideshow on main page works only if I use only one ditto call on the same page...

Slideshow on other page works (there is no ditto call), but I am not able to resize thumbainls in "filmstrip" slideshow...
there is wierd link on mouse hover on this thumbnails (default config), therefore I reconfigured galleryview.php (config) and add in link <a href rel="floatbox" ... This create correct html code with correct link for each thumbail in filmstrip, but only one image can be resized in floatbox, other are just opened in new window... - wery strange behaviour - there must be some error in your code.... (or e2g is not tested on older version of floatbox, as I wrote in previous post)
