Support/Comments for mxCalendar 0.0.7-rc4

I was able to style just the row that has the weekday names by altering the (calendar.inc.php) file just a bit and adding a class in the section labeled with comment "//-- Start heading weekday loop" and then changing one of the lines below to read

'mxcMonthInnerDayClass' => 'mxcHeadingWeekday'

where before it was just null.

I was then able to use that class in my CSS theme file.

What am I missing?
It works fine when I leave out the inner item template (lists the events using the template in event.list.event.html), when I add the inner item template, all the events just disappear, no trace of any of the template code, all I get is the empty container ul.

Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?

Other issue:

Is there any way to just stop the snippet from triggering the javascript to be added to the header? I still need the AjaxPageId to specify the event page as far as I can tell...but the JS/AJAX is not working for me and I can’t figure it out, and it’s just giving me these errors:

MOOdalBox.init.bind is not a function Line 7
Class is not defined Line 1
window.addEvent is not a function Line 59

I actually created my own theme and tried to modify "month.inner.day.base.html" to style just the day name row, but what I found was that it also changed the style on the filler day cells that come before the 1st of the month and after the last. If I am missing something obvious on how to target that row, please let me know. If not, could you add an "mxc" class for just that row, or could you output with <th> instead of <tr>?
