I’m playing around with release 1.0 and have noticed a couple of things. First, if I style the "today" class (e.g. make the header for today a different color), then that is also applied to the same date in other months. For example, if I styled today (Dec. 12), then that styling seems to show up for Jan 12th as well.
I think I worked around this by commenting out these two lines in calendar.inc.php (in the $counter loop) :

// $classToday = $this->config['mxcCalendarActiveDayClass'];
Also, I think the calculation of $thisDayofWeek in calendar.inc.php is off. When I append $thisDayofWeek to a fake id value for each cell, I find that, for example, January 4th (a Tuesday) is listed as having a value of 6 - that is, the last day of the week. The relevance is that I can’t rely on that value to change the styling for weekends, for example.
I’m not certain of the logic involved, but it seems to stem from the dt parameter passed on the URL??? In that case, there is a timestamp which is passed to the date function, to return values for year, month and day as integers (I believe). But the date function only takes an integer as a timestamp, not a string such as is being passed on the URL. So if one inserts an "echo" statement in calendar.inc.php near the top, shortly after this calculation is made, I think you’ll see what I mean.
Or, alternatively, I am misunderstanding how various values are used. In either case, is there a suggestion as to how I could isolate the weekends for styling?
