Support/Comments for mxCalendar 0.0.7-rc4

Thanks for your help. I do have mxCalendar up and running fine - I was just working on trying to create a new theme and thought I might be making unnecessary changes.

FWIW, I was trying to create a look-a-like to the Easy PHP calendar seen here
http://www.easyphpcalendar.com/demoTOC.php
and in particular would like to do something like this
http://www.easyphpcalendar.com/demoBlog.php
to replace an existing version of that.

Any thoughts/advice/guidance would be appreciated, particularly re: the "mini" calendar with a list of events alongside.

the mini calendar has been on the road map for sometime for mxCalendar and probably just need to get it done, what is your project deadline on this? If I can make the mini calendar then that with the "list" view would achieve this.

No particular deadline on the mini calendar. In fact, if you point me in the right direction, I’ll take a first stab at it for you. Is it only a matter of changing view files or is there logic that would need to be changed too? I had copied the default theme to another folder and started exploring - at which point I thought I might be making unnecessary changes.

both logic and view files to make it as flexible as possible, I have a current version of the calendar now that supports ajax previous and next on the month navigation that has not been released just yet, so that might have an impact on your changes when released, but take a look at the /mxCalendar/includes/calendar.inc.php file that is currently used to generate the full calendar view. Then take a look at the /mxCalendar/mxCalendar.classp.php and search for the string "Front End Views" and that will put in where the views are pulled in.

I am having a problem displaying the event details.
Everything is working fine in the calendar view set to ’full’.
But I am having a problem with the hyperlinks in the event list set to ’list’.

The link is referring to the base url followed by

/0.html?details=121

I want it to be an ajax popup like the calendar view.
That code returns

/mxcalendar-ajax.html?details=121

Any ideas where to look?

BobbyG66,

You also have jQuery running on that page? We have the same problem and that is because of jQuery and Mootools together.

In your event style "list" snippet place the the &mxcAjaxPageId=`27` as below, and test.

[!mxcalendar? &mxcType=`list` &mxcAjaxPageId=`27` &mxcDefaultCatIdLock=`true` &mxcTypeLocked=`true`!]
