Thanks for your response - I did find that the string I want to change is in the file located at: /core/components/spform/lexicon/en/default.inc.php and I now see the value can be edited at: Manager > System > Lexicon Management and selecting SPForm from the Namespace Dropdown.
I’ll need to do a bit more reading to follow your instruction. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction though!
If you edit the System Lexicon grid, the changes will survive any upgrades. That’s not necessarily true when you edit the file, so editing the system settings is the recommended method (and it’s easier).
Hey, thank YOU actually. You opened my eyes up to something I haven’t explored in Revo, and that is the Lexicon stuff. Had no idea there were settings there. I’m still getting used to Revolution.

My pleasure. Welcome to MODx.
Thanks, Bob. Good to be here.
Say, after setting up SPForm properly (on 2.0.2) and all seemed to be working right. My client noticed this morning that it broke itself (so to speak). By this I mean that the form when working properly calls a response/confirmation resource with the ID 11. When it has "broken itself" it calls the ID 1 (itself/the home page where the form is) and it leaves the user with a blank white screen.
Now the weird part... earlier it "fixed itself" and I didn’t do anything other than peek at the settings. All seemed to be working and tested out alright. Now it’s broken itself again. I’m pretty sure it has to do with the web host (It’s FatCow -- which I DO NOT recommend, I’m having a much smoother time with Bluehost).
Could this be a http referrer issue? If so, Bob, you mentioned I can turn this referrer check off. How do I go about doing that if you think that’s worth troubleshooting. Thanks in advance!
That really does sound like a server issue. I’m guessing that 1 is your home page and also your error page (set in System -> System Settings). You’ll end up there whenever a "page not found" error occurs. SPForm simply forwards you to the Thank You page (11). If that forward fails, MODx will toss you to the error page. It shouldn’t have anything to do with the referrer. Is the email sent when this happens?
Unless you’re referring to the "Take me back" link. That does have to do with HTTP_REFERER, which is set (not always correctly) by the host. The option to show that link can be turned off.
Thanks as always, Bob. I’m actually not using the take me back link. The email is not sent. I just checked again and it HAS to be a server issue as it has now "fixed itself" once again. I wonder what’s going on with the server. Hopefully this doesn’t keep up. If it does I may just need to suck it up and move the site to a host that doesn’t smell like... well... a FatCow.
And now it’s broken itself once again. Is there anything I can check for or describe what’s happening that’s not from a MODx standpoint to FatCow support? Has anyone experienced PHP mail() bouncing randomly between working and not working? Once more question for now regarding SPForm, do I need to inlude the /index.php (that’s where I’m testing from before launch since there’s a default index.html file being used temporarily) in the http referrer property setting in SPForm?
Sorry for the 3 posts in a row here but I’m hoping to launch this puppy! Would trying to use SMTP to send the form data be an option worth trying? Easy to set up? I do remember reading to NOT use both and I think that’s a main MODx config setting?

I’m not sure what you mean about including index.php. Did you modify the SPForm code? That could possibly be related to your problem.
SMTP is quite easy. Just set the System Settings (and *not* the SPForm SMTP settings) and it should work.
