Support/Comments for Easy 2 Gallery 1.4.0-Beta 4

This is my first time posting here so if i miss something let me know . I love this module, it works just like I want it to but, when using galleriffic - example-1 I would like to remove all of the next, previous, slideshow, download original links. I’ve been playing around with it but I can’t figure out how.

OK,
this is a customization example.
create easy2/customizes/ folder, unzip these files.
use this snippet call:

[!easy2? &slideshow=`galleriffic` &ss_config=`example-1` &ss_indexfile=`assets/modules/easy2/customizes/rycray-galleriffic.php` &ss_js=`assets/modules/easy2/customizes/js/rycray-galleriffic-1.js`!]

i’m creating &tags parameter for directory and file.

But I have questions on concept:
1. If a dir is tagged, should the untagged dirs underneath it shown when it’s opened?
2. How about the untagged files inside it?
3. If dirs AND files are tagged, are those shown in one page in a stack? or structured under the dir tree?
4. The 3rd question also applied for the tagged dir descendants.
4. Is &tags applied as &gid extend? Or stand alone?

Will someone enlighten me up?

Hmmm. Good question(s). I guess my sense would be that a tag of a parent should be inherited by the child (file or subdirectory), show those should somehow be shown.

And if I understand your question correctly about stack vs. tree, I guess I’d vote for tree as that is more compact from a page "real estate" perspective.

Not sure what you mean by the last question - could you elaborate a bit?

After installing easy 2 gallery I get this error when trying to run the module:
Could someone enlighten me on how to fix this?

I never got any errors when installing this, so I can’t help other than to suggest double-checking anything you edited or passed as a parameter for invalid characters. It’s also not clear to me where exactly that is failing - perhaps at the first "echo" statement in that file? If so, perhaps putting a print statement in front of the echo to see what variables it’s dealing with might help.

Hey Goldsky, what do you think about adding snippet for generating list of available albums in the TV - you know something like this:

but based on drop-down box with exactly the same tree structure in it that you’ve created for ’moving/copying’ files (http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,49266.msg290333.html#msg290333). I need something like this and surely made it by myself, but I think that using your original code may be better. Is that code (for tree generation) already in SVN? When are you planning to release RC1 version?

I got this error because I was using php4, upgrading to php5 seemed to fix this.
