Support/Comments for Easy 2 Gallery 1.3.5-release

@sharkbait,

did you use the standard zip format? I found it wouldn’t upload any other types of zipped files - ie not a gz or targz etc. I found the standard zip worked though.

I have not tried the latest one but I tried the one from yesterday and zip upload works perfectly for me. If you can provide the error message you receive it would be helpful in troubleshooting.

Also share some tech details of your server when possible, php version and so on, they are useful.

How big is the file you are trying to upload? and what are you using to zip the files/folder?

file size of the zip is 670KB
used Aladdin DropStuff / tried 7Zip as well

Since you are using XP do a quick test please, try zipping with xp built in archive capabilities. Since this worked for me without issues that would be a good way to start troubleshooting.

To zip through xp simply right click folder and inside "send to" option should be an option for zip archive. Give that a try please.

unfortunately didn’t work
any php settings i should check? ( MaxiGallery zip upload did work though )

aaaargh - oh dear, i’m so stupid - totally overlooked the zip-upload field (was used to only one with MaxiGallery)
need to check an error i got:

Warning: strrpos() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in C:\xampp1.7.1\htdocs\evo1.0.2\assets\modules\easy2\module.easy2gallery.php on line 789

*edit: ignore the above error, was due to an "&" in a filename. ...working fine now

I’m glad you figured it out.
