- I noticed on galleries with many images, if you have a large website and decide to place your image gallery close to the bottom of the page (requiring you to scroll down), whenever you click on a page of your gallery you would need to manually scroll down every single time to the bottom of the page to continue checking the gallery. There are several different ways to address this:

[li]1) The way I fixed this for the time being was by simply adding a <a name="gallery"> in my template to the title of my gallery. I then modified the pages links in the snippet file so they would end with #gallery. This way, whenever a new gallery page is requested, my webpage automatically scrolls down to the gallery section. This is something that is easily done in the template but because the pages navigation links are not accessible through the template files they require manual intervention to the snippet code, which makes future updating a bit more tedious.
- 2) An ideal approach would be to have the pages navigation not change the page at all, either by navigating through the pictures using an ajax script of some sort or whatever implementation that can be achieved so that pages are navigated without reloading the entire window.

[li]I could not quite figure out how the colum/rows is done for CSS based design (when not using tables). To be honest I did not put much effort into finding out as I could force my layout very simply by adjusting some css sizes as I required, but I would have loved to learn how to adjust it so I could control columns/rows by adjusting the snippet parameter or the module configuration and not having to modify CSS. I guess this means more documentation about how it works.[/li]
[li]I had some difficulties with the way the system crops thumbnails as I did not want my height fixed for all images the same way. Thankfully someone had already asked about this prior in this thread and it was an easy fix. However, this fix is hardcoded into the snippet and it would be an ideal parameter configurable per snippet code.[/li]
[li]I would love to have the ability to assign custom watermarks within the snippet additional to the one in the global configuration. This would allow me to use different watermarks for different situations within my website.[/li]

The FURL issue should have been fixed, since I’ve inserted MODX_BASE_URL into all links.
About <b></b>, actually it’s used by each of single image, to push a margin and round corner to the default template.
You can completely ignore that if you use your own CSS style.

- All across my website I am using the fancybox script since it is the one I feel best fit what I want to achieve. However, I decided to test drive the other options and realized most of them (probably all) still have many russian language strings built in. Since these are not in my template I can only assume they are hardcoded somewhere. I understand that not everything is yet translated but I would have assumed that it would come in english at least as that is what my CMS is configured for as the main language. Unless the module has its own language setting somewhere I have not found.
- An ability to rotate a given picture in the manager (90 degree) would be a great addition. This way one could be a bit careless about uploading a bunch of pictures and just fix landscape ones by a quick visit to the manager.
- If I modify my image width and height settings from the configuration panel and I delete/clean cache and synchronize, should it re-size whatever images which are now above that limit from the gallery? I could not get this to work, though I am not sure if it is supposed to, but the only way I found around it was to just delete existing images and re-upload them to force the re-size again. This would be annoying if I had a lot of galleries on my website.
- Not sure if there is a parameter for this or not, but being able to specify the large image width or height on the snippet call so that different galleries could have different settings would also be nice.
I have more ideas/comments/suggestions but these are the ones which are most relevant right now.
I completely support this module, I honestly love it and I would be happy to further its continued support and integration of new features.

For thumb, I’m thinking to drop the default thumb creation, and use
phpthumb from gxdlabs. Getting more exciting, eh? :p
The reason why I also get my hand dirty on this module, because I like its way, BUT I really don’t like its renaming.
Right now I have to replace a bunch of the images, but I MUST NOT change its ID, since it has been used in many of pages, and in my particular job, the Easy 2 Gallery is nested with my own snippet + custom module and custom database.
