Hey Mk just finished another module/plugin i needed, if everthing works fine on the new one i’m heading back to docsort adding your features.

if you want to try by yourself have a look at line 972in docsort.class.php -> renderEditorHtmlArray($var_id,$doc_id)

this function returns the forms for editing tv-content below line 996 you could add something like this.

Hello, 012. Can you help in another thing? I need to start your module tree from specific category, in order to show not all site documents, but only documents from parent with specific id.
I.e. i have this category tree

news
page1
page2
page3
..
catalogue
-category1
-category2
-category3
--subcategory1
--subcategory2
..

i need that module showing ONLY this tree, starting from catalogue

-category1
-category2
-category3
--subcategory1
--subcategory2

1) you’ve showed how to add preview for tv. This is great, but not complete. Original tv preview doesn’t need refresh preview button (preview refreshes automatically), yours have and this is drawback. Another thing, no max-width or max-height for preview. Can you overcome this disadvantages?

2) i need to add tv’s in document creation (and edit) tab of your module. Which calling when "+" or button with 3 dots is pushed. Sorry for my englsih, you didn’t understood what i’ve sad? And this tv’s (template dependent) must be in their original form (textareas) (just like in original modx document creation form), without links which needs to be pushed - it eats preshious time.

3) Maybe you can (for alternative) say how to call original modx child document creation/edit form when "+" or button with 3 dots is pushed?

Sure i understood, everthing together in the edit / create window like the modx standard pages, just thinking about the option to simply open the standard manager create / edit page in an iframe in the docsort edit / create window.

So you would have the default manager forms for creation and editing of a document, including all other installed external plugins that adds extra functionality to the document editing and such. Would be much less work as adding all the stuff by hand.

Instead of a refresh button you could replace the onClick event within the a href by an onChange="changeImage()"; event, but this doesn’t seem to work in IE, don’t know why, have to check the js-reference first.

To resize the image for a preview on the fly, gdlib could be used together with some ajax stuff for the refresh. An easier way would be a div layer with overflow-x and y: set to scroll, with that you would get a scrollable imagearea for the preview, without destroying the bounds of the window.

can you say what code i need to insert in href tag to do this?

I’m on it, but have to figure out which url will open the create- and editpage for a document

for example the following url http://yourdomain.com/manager/index.php?a=3&id=1&opened=# opens the editpage for a document with id 1.

Don’t know if there’s a tool that display the url’s which are currently opened in each frame of a page, if the the urls are known it could be just simple linkage with in the module and maybe a bit javascript.
