only works for FriendlyURL on. If you wanna change use it with friendly URLs off, just change in the chunk by

Ok, I was meaning how do I get the SWF uploader counter/queue swf to appear on the page I’m working on.

I’m getting this on the left (random CSS implemented) but would love the flash upload bar to work as shown on http://digitarald.de/playground/uplooad.html



I should point out I’ve only just picked up this snippet and it’s a sweet piece of coding, specially the modx params and security checks.

If you could point myself to what I have to change in the FancyUpload.js to achieve the above right I’d thank you forever and a day!!

First, you can have the delete icon with css :

In the zip file, you have an example. And here is a copy :


Just make sure the number of ’..’ correspond to the place you put the css file
It’s just to find the icon already existing in the modx install.

The delete icon is already there, you don’t have anything to do more
For progress bar, I have never looked at that, I’ve just changed the background and the color, so it’s just css. I suppose it could be done with some mootools JS addon

Don’t worry too much about it. I’ve got some time to work on this so I’ll see what I can do here. The CSS elements I dare say will be fine if I can’t resolve it.

If you look a CSS solution, you should look at .queue-subloader and .queue-loader. It could help

I have (at least!) uploaded my last version with a bug fix. If the snippet doesn’t work for you, try the last one

i was just about to post back about that, looks like it’s mostly CSS driven and I’m trying out a few things. Look like that’ll sort it!

Hi there,

Making good progress on this now. Seems that the CSS was a little out so I’m sorting that. There’s a dash where there should have been an underscore in the initial chunk and the CSS is being fleshed out with the same initial formatting as from the fancyuploader site.

Whilst I’m working on this I’ve been using Firefox, but one thing though, it’s not giving me any results or working at all in IE.
Is this an expected drawback or is there a work around?
