Support/Comments for FancyUpload

Woo i don’t believe what i just said before ,I’m totally sleepy right now i had confused RTE’s addition which is a plugin Vs this nice snippet!!
STA: donate some to me to buy a medicine to force me to sleep! and to dev_cw for his memory upgrade kidding!

Oh man, such a nice of you i could imagine some day monitors do some hypnotism and make me sleep on keyboard, till then ill push the buttons simultaneously to get the medicine to the assets!, wait a minute! how possibly i can grab them?

Lol. Hope that day when monitors will do some hypnotism, they will bring some pillow ! we don’t wanna see this awful keyboard keys writed on our face ! Oups! I’ll go to bed to avoid some other bad jokes like the one I just made!

Sure you can do it but how can i?, I’m on my bed with miniature light focused to my laptop keyboards!, so its such a romantic view! ... its valentine season isn’t it?

Heh. I don’t bother with the USB light in cold weather, my electric heater puts out plenty of light.

awesome snippet Pikachu! I was thinking of implementing FancyUpload for a while and it’s so great to see that someone made a snippet for it! (Nice!) But what about the fancy .swf effects of showing the "uploading" bar/the queue list etc. thats on the digitarald site?

There is a queue list in the snippet by default. And the snippet shows the evolution of the upload with % not with bar. You can change the FancyUpload.js and your CSS for your custom effects.

Edit : You only need CSS for the delete file icon and for a basic progress bar. See replies below

Hi there,

Having some initial problems I hope that they’re not too stupid, but you never know!

Ok. Running an Xampp installation using Apache on Win32 with MySQL and Modx 0.95 (at the mo) and everytime I upload a file the percentage does go up to 100% but then it returns a PATH NOT FOUND error. I’m noting that the form seems to be posting back a url of index?id=916?relPath= which it doesn’t seem to like at all.


Also I cannot for the life of me seem to get these SWF uploaders working at all. Any pointers as to how to implement these specifically? Anyone else had any luck/problems?
