    assets/templates/mytemplates/swansong/images/bgd.png

    What do you get when you view source?

      To make it clear, the asset/images folder is for normal uploaded images, like say a picture of your cat that you put into a blog post (assuming you like cats).

      The assets/templates/mytemplates/swansong/images folder is for template images obviously. Not that you have to follow these rules, but putting the link in the css is easier this way...

      Also, make sure you are clearing out the old one and getting that new one in there. Might be worth it to delete the original image, log out, log back in again, confirm there is no file in the folder with that name , and then upload the new image.

      I remember once having a problem like that. Or, you could use a different file name for the new image altogether...

        Did what you suggested as well dun, with no luck. Cleared cache, logged out, etc... einstein, I’m not sure what I am looking for if I go to Safari and view the source. It won’t show the css file source?

          Out of curiosity, wouldn’t #003250 need to be removed?

            Sorry about that, what I should actually have suggested you do is inspect the page with firebug in firefox

                I’m really not sure what the deal was... I am in my modx manager in Firefox, recently just closed out that tab. Went back to it and hit preview and now the background is displaying correctly. I’m glad, but at the same time, I wish I knew what change was made that made it work!

                The source code showing in Firebug is:

                body {
                margin : 20px;
                padding : 0;
                font : 73% "Trebuchet MS", verdana, arial, sans-serif;
                color : #666;
                background : #003250 url(../images/background.png) repeat;
                }

                Thanks again guys!
