    We hope to have a sample chapter PDF file up next week. It’s very close indeed, and we’re really excited about how it’s looking!

    For those considering digital purchases, what format(s) would you want to see?

    PDF + kindle format would be fine

          I’m happy to use my 10,000th post to announce that the book is within a day or two of being finished and ready for publication. We just need to tie up a few loose ends.

          I don’t know how long the publication process takes these days, but hopefully it will be available soon.

                    I’ve been waiting on this for a long time, been building sites in EE and Concrete5 in the meantime, wondered where I can put a preorder in?

                      I see the book is in stock and for sale on Amazon.com. I pre-ordered 2-oct-2011 and am wondering where things are at.

                      BTW - I tried to e-mail twice and got a "passed" as the only feedback after I sent a message using the website's contact form. No joy smiley

                      =============================================================

                      UPDATE: I received the copy I ordered today. The text to whitespace ratio is really good (i.e. very little wasted space). I looks very comprehensive and am looking forward to working my way through it. I've been away from modx (Evolution), web, and programming in general for 5 years so I cannot quickly say whether or not there is superfluous information, but it looks really good to me. Thanks!
