    Hey bS,

    I know you are very busy with the new version, but can you maybe implement some validation?
    Let’s say if I want a field for email, only an email should be entered. Maybe make it optional?

    I think about something like:
    &customfields=`name,email|validEmail,url|validURL`

    Then we can set custom validation rules for each option. No problem for me if it has to done in the snippet code and it’s a not a call.

    Thank you!

    No rush or anything, do you know when a new version will be available? I would really like to add my comments to the DB.
    Keep up the great work!

      Add:
      //class for every other comment.
      $altrowcss = isset($altrowcss) ? $altrowcss : 'altRow';

      To the top variable checks, and:
      $altRow = ($i%2)==0 ? ' '.$altrowcss : null;
      $comment = str_replace('[+altrowclass+]',$altRow,$comment);

      In the template tag replacement loop. Now you can alternate the look of every other comment in a list, like the old UserComments snippet.

      Could you please clarify how this can be implemented?

        I’m having a problem with
        tags in user comments with Replix.
        My Replix call is
        [[Replix? &folder=`53`]]

        but is the user has newlines in their commnet they appear as
        in the comments list.
        For example
        1111
        2222
        3333
        4444
        Appears as
        1111
        2222
        3333
        4444

        Is there something I’ve done to make this happen or does anyone else have the same problem?

            I believe everyone has the same problem. And that is pity since it makes Replix version 1.7.5 compleately unusable. Does anyone know quick fix for this
            -problem?

              Found a fix but only if you use a &tplComment chunk.
              Modify the comment.inc.html that comes with the snippet (or the chunk you are using)
              Change
                 <div class="rpx-message">[{comment.message}]</div>

              to
                 <div class="rpx-message">[{comment.message;htmlconv=no}]</div>

              This tells TBS not to convert to html and seems to do the trick.

                  Hello,

                  Replix does not compile html and renders html tags like
                  and &quot;. How can I solve that?

                  Thanks!

                    Changing the ini setting is not going to be possible in most cases...

                    The real problem is the code is trying to call a function using a reference, which is not proper. Instead the function being called should accept the parameter by reference. Call time pass by reference is a deprecated feature and code should not be written to depend on it. It’s a fairly trivial change in most cases, unless the function being called is specifically required to handle references and copies. In other words, just change a call like:
                    myFunction($justAVar1, & $aVarPassedByReferenceAtCallTime);

                    to:
                    myFunction($justAVar1, $justAVar2);

                    and then change the function definition to treat the passed variable by reference by explicitly putting the & symbol before the parameter to be treated that way...i.e. change:
                    function myFunction($var1, $var2) { ... }

                    to:
                    function myFunction($var1, & $var2) { ... }

                    Hope that helps...
