  It doesn’t seem to be recording votes and is redirecting to the home page on submit in safari because of the action. Make it

  action="[*id*]"

  and it should get rid of that behavior.

  @rthrash: I’ve tried that on my local machine and when I submit the vote, it breaks on mine because it tries to access something like:
  
  http://www.immerse.me.uk/modx/39 (returns a 404)
  
  Any ideas? Please tell me if I’m being dimwitted and missing something really obvious.

  Did you update the .htaccess file with the absolute path back to the web server root as described in the comments in that file? For instance, it looks like you are using /modx/ as the root for the modx installation, so the mod_rewrite rule needs to look like this...
  
  

  # If your MODx installation is in a subdirectory, change the following line to match the physical
  # path to the "root" of the site as follows:
  # RewriteRule ^(.*)$ /path/to/subdirectory/index.php?q=$1 [L,QSA]

  Work fine here: http://www.tattoocms.it with FURL and friendly alias path.
  Better if call uncached like [!pollvotes!] and [!pollresults!]

  With regards to cleaning votes, I’m going to include an option in the next update. With the snippets working as they should now, I’m devoting a bit of time to the manager module.
  
  Probably won’t be until tomorrow before I can get the update out but should solve the remaining issues.

  There’s a module included to allow for setting up polls, and I’ll be getting a second release out later that solves a few outstanding issues - just testing it now.

  I have now uploaded Version 1 of the Poll Modules and Snippets in the first post of this thread.
  
  Major changes have been made to the Poll Module so I would recommend that this gets updated if you are already using the module.
