      When I place a vote using the module I get this:

      « MODx Parse Error »
      MODx encountered the following error while attempting to parse the requested resource:
      « ID passed in request is NaN! »

      Parser timing
      MySQL: 0.0000 s s (0 Requests)
      PHP: 0.0609 s s
      Total: 0.0609 s

      any ideas? The ID passed is not a number? The page does exist...

        Okay, after tying up with jwtyler on the IRC and trying out a few things, OpenGeek came up with a solution to fix the above problem.

        I will repackage the module tomorrow evening and post in the original post. The update will include the SQL changes, the fix for the above problem, and a few tweaks I made while checking out the code today.

        Thanks, Garry

              Little bug, how to fix:

              [REPLACE]
              $ovmessage = (isset ($ovmesage)) ? $ovmessage : ’You are only allowed to vote once’;
              [TO]
              $ovmessage = (isset ($ovmessage)) ? $ovmessage : ’You are only allowed to vote once’;

                Next:

                [REPLACE]
                $resultsbutton = (isset ($results)) ? true : false;
                [TO]
                $resultsbutton = (isset ($resultsbutton)) ? true : false;

                    Version 3 is now available in the first post of this thread. smiley

                    Summary of changes are:

                    1. Results Button now shows when the parameter is set.
                    2. Corrected a minor problem in the $onevote code.
                    3. $ovmessage will now work when parameter is set - before, it would always use the default message.
                    4. Adjusted the SQL in the module so should work on 3.23* MySQL installs.
                    5. Some implementations may not have parsed the ’action’ of the voting form correctly - this now uses a placeholder so shouldn’t cause any issues from now on.

                    Sorry for some these bugs in the first place - should have caught them in my testing embarrassed

                    Cheers, Garry

                      Nice work Garry, this works a treat. Is there anyway at all to make it so instead of votes being restricted to 1 per IP address, is it possible to restrict it so it is 1 vote per MODx Webuser?
