I’ll go look into this later. Is there anyphp compiler or something? When I learn PHP 3-4 years ago, we don’t really have to define or set the var explicitely. So it’s more like a habit when creating something.

Mark would you mind checking my newsletter? Maybe there is a bad coding practice in there as well.

    Thanks

Not exactly a compiler, but when using Eclipse with PHPEclipse, a project is built using the PHP interpreter and code that has errors or warnings (you can even customize what merits a warning or error when building) will be marked in the code with a corresponding reason why (tooltips when hovering over the problem or the icon in the left margin reveal the problem description)

In addition, there is also a Problem view which lists all of the errors and warnings from a project; you can click on a problem to go directly to the location in the source where the problem is being reported

        Thanks Jason! cool

I was looking for something along these lines the other day and couldn’t find anything suitable. This is definitely going to help me.

        Cheers, Garry

            Wendy, any updates?

Have you worn out yet trying to make this alendar snippet work? lol
If not, I’ll come up with another fix. I’ll go look into this tomorow.

Btw, I’m in the middle of creating classes for additional layer API to access the users info. Hope this can be of help to some of us wink

Mark, is there any possible way for me to have an access into your hosting account for 1 or 2 days?
I mean, there is no error at all on my server, so if I can test this on the fly, I might be able to fix it and get it to work for majority of people in here.

Garry, any luck in installing this snippet? Your response to this, either with error or with success will help me a lot.

              Thanks

@Wendy: I should be able to get you access to the hosting account. Would you just need a test manager (clean install) and the file manager?

If it matters, it is a MediaTemple.net shared hosting plan with 2gb of storage.

Sure. Just a plain modx installation, with the database had been setup on the server. All I need is just an ftp access to the file and ability to change snippet and edit/create document on the manager. You can setup the database by yourself, so I don’t need the database info wink

                  Thanks Mark.

@Djamoer: I had the same error as Mark got regarding arrayResult not being defined. I started to work through doing some error checking but had to divert my attention to a site that I’m designing for someone (sorry, should have posted back to let you know embarrassed)

I’ve got a wonderful two-week holiday from work starting next week so I’m going to be able to devote a lot more time to test this from the weekend onwards for you. smiley

I’ll keep you informed of anything I find.

                      Cheers, Garry
