Apparently you didn’t unless you installed it both as a Snippet and a Module, the capture above says "Import Module Shared parameters", doesn’t it ?

My install doesn’t display module properties in the snippet properties tab... there is nothing there.

I am not sure I understand what happens here huh

I think Karsten has everything right. The "module" you’re seeing is the option to import properties from a module.Dependencies can be setup between modules and plugins or snippets so that they can access the properties of their "parent" module.

The QuickEdit module does this with the QuickEdit plugin. That way you don’t have to change properties in two places.

Thanks Adam for clarifying, but again when I download FormProcessor I have a snippet tpl file but I installed no FormProcessor Module...

Sorry if I am a little slow here wink

          good snippet tongue

any plans for adding the ability to handle attachments? I’d like to be able to store a file to a database, and then send the email (without attachment) to a third party.

Hmm, that’s an interesting idea. I hadn’t thought about that. It would be nice to do but I wouldn’t count on it getting done too soon.

In the meantime if you add your own custom snippet to the form page you should be able to handle the attachment on your own.

The form processor should be able to handle sending the reply email as is.

By the way, I’ve got some very cool stuff I’ve been working on for this snippet in the way of managing, editing, and exporting submissions through FormProcessor. I’ve been waiting forever ’till I had the time to document it but I don’t think that time will come too soon so I’m probably going to release it and just let people figure it out on their own. I’m gonna see if I can get that and a few other things released this weekend.

I do have a snippet for uploading files to mysql, but don’t have a clue as to how i might include the file as an email attachment. I think if i study your code long enough i might be able to figure it out smiley
What kind of ideas are you working on then for managing, editing, exporting? wysiwyg editor? xml? As far as i’m concerned, I have more fun trying to figure out what the code is doing, than reading manuals and the like!

The eForm snippet has the ability to upload files through a form and have them sent as an attachement with an e-mail. Maybe you can look at that code and see how it is done there.

Where in the database are the new tables created?

I didn’t pick up any event log errors, but I’m also unable to find the data that was written when I look in phpMyAdmin.

                  Thanks!

I’ll try to get it out real soon and you can see for yourself.

It should be submissions and submission_data (prefixed with whatever MODx table prefix you might be using of course). Just so you know the data is not stored in a human friendly way. The method for storing the data is meant to be flexible. It is definitely not designed for performance or usability. However, if you can wait ’till tomorrow (or maybe tonight) you can use the new module which does present the data in a very user friendly format.

Thanks!! I’ll wait. Just trying to figure out if it’s doing what it should (doubting my set-up ability, not your scripting ability...LOL).
