Okay, I’ve been working on this for a while and thinking about it for who knows how long. This snippet is a generic form processor it handles required fields, sends submissions via email and saves submissions to the database.

I’ve put together a good bit of documentation on how to use the snippet on my site. Please note that the snippet will not work well with any version before 0.9.1 (which should be releasing soon) due to a bug in rendering placeholders. So don’t use in a production environment just yet.

I havn’t done a lot of testing yet so if you run into any problems please let me know.

P.S. It looks complicated I know but it’s really pretty simple.

Thanks, I can never get form and from typed out right and the spellcheckers never catch it.

Boy, you weren’t kidding about IE. I worked on this late last night and I really didn’t want to have to reboot into IE so I just left it figuring any inconsistencies couldn’t be that bad (it all validated as XHTML strict) but boy was I wrong. Thanks for letting me know.

Nice Adam. One more typo: tabel should be table.

Thanks, fixed that one too. One of these days I’ll get the spellchecker working.

Well, it’s table, but label. What do you expect, such a crazy language!

                      Hi,

Excuse me for my bad English

I installed FormProcessor and I don’t have the good result: My page posts only the character ’]’

I created the snippet ’FormProcessor’ starting from the downloaded code
I created the chunk ’ExampleForm’ as indicated in documentation
I have created my page with this code :
                      [!FormProcessor?form_name=[ExampleForm]&to=[your_email@your_domain.com]&required=[Name,Message]!]

I have not a good result.
I modified the code like that :
                      [!FormProcessor?form_name=`ExampleForm`&to=`your_email@your_domain.com`&required=`Name,Message`!]

I obtain a white page without zones

                      Can you help me ?
                      Thank you contribution.
                        Marc
