Seems like you’ve fixed something and introduces some new bugs .
Let’s take my previous menu for example... it had 3 levels.
In 0.8 the links that point to folders are converted to: link/ ...BUT only if they are on the first level of the menu (item x ) , and the subitems , even if they are folders are still with the .html suffix.
Also , I noticed a regression: now, the URLs of the loaded page(the one in the adress bar) is of page.html form , instead of page/ if they are folders.

Oops, try changing the following line:

$alias = array_search($documentIdentifier, $modx->documentListing);

to

$alias = basename(array_search($documentIdentifier, $modx->documentListing));

I’ve updated the above plugin code and it shooouuld work for you.

Note: In order to avoid extra DB calls, empty containers will not display as folders. They can, of course, be overridden using the TV option.

In testing v 0.8 Plugin, I am finding that with seoOverride set to "folder" on my Empty container, it still is not forcing "alias/" ... However, the generated links vs. resolved URL are now similar, which is nice!

NOTE: On www.pixelchutes.com Portfolio IS an empty container, while Contact is normal document.

I assume that by empty containers , you mean: containers that have no children.

That being said , even with the corrected 0.8 version I have some inconsistency issues.I’ve described my problem bellow:

I notice eForm is NOT working ONLY when on the homepage... (Form submitting to itself with ACTION=’[~[*id*]~]’ )

Because [~[*id*]~] is resolving to index.html, NOT /, and since index.html is 301’d to "/", the form doesn’t submit properly ??

As it may be related, I should point out that [~[*id*]~] is called from within a Chunk, called by eForm...

Well, I guess I forgot that it only rewrites HREF=" ... ", but I definitely think ACTION=" ... " should also be included...

Even in v0.8.1, When I have a container (be it empty (no children) or not) with seoOverride, it’s not showing up as "alias/", rather "alias"

I just copy and paste the plugin from the form, no modification...

I noticed that $override is set to "0" by default, when I change this to 1, the URL resolves to /alias/, but all links remain "/alias" ....

For the .htaccess changes, what if we want to force all queries to the http://mysite.com/ version vs. http://www.mysite.com/ version?

I haven’t spotted any bugs ,it looks very good so far .

Question: If I still want to have empty containers show as folders,without using TV overrides , would it suffice to supress the checks ? Haven’t done that yet,will test it tomorrow ( though having it as a config option would be even better ).
