    Depth defaults have changed!

    &descendentDepth is now &depth and defaults to 1
    &multiLevel no longer exists

    So, just append &depth=`#` to your calls when # is the number of levels deep you would like Ditto to see and you should be good.

    Ok replaced &multilevel with &depth=2 works great wink

      hi mark,

      i’m trying to apply filter with tagdata on two differents TV.
      The matter is that both have numeric value.

      My ditto call:

      [!Ditto? &startID=`xx` &tagData=`tvTV1,tvTV2` &tagDelimiter=`,` &tagMode=`onlyAllTags` &tags=`[*TV1*],[*TV2*]` !]

      Documents have 2 TVs (TV1 and TV2)

      TV1 values:
      TV1iTem1==1||TV1iTem2==2

      TV2 values:
      TV2item1==1||TV2item2==2

      So documents where TV1==1 or TV2==1 are returned when I’m trying to get only documents with TV1==1&&TV2==2

      Is there a way to obtain this result with ditto without changing the TVs

      wouldn’t it be better to specify &tags=`TV1=[*TV1*],TV2=[*TV2*]` to avoid confusion between TV values during filtering

      Hope that makes sense

      :-)

      P.S:one more thing, if I’m trying to call ditto cached it doesn’t return any value.

        Hi Mark,

        Did you notice that in 0.9.5 QE doesn’t have anymore QE_OpenEditor function which is used in ditto to render QE links in front end.

        	// ---------------------------------------------------
        	// QE Renderer
        	// ---------------------------------------------------

        	function renderQELink($fields, $id, $QEPrefix,$customFields,$placeholders) {
        		global $modx;
        		foreach ($fields as $dv) {
        			$df = (in_array($dv,array_keys($customFields))) ? $customFields["$dv"] : $dv;
        			$value = (!$modx->hasPermission('exec_module')) ? $placeholders["[+$dv+]"]: $placeholders["[+$dv+]"]. '<a href="javascript:;" onclick="javascript: QE_OpenEditor('.$id.', \''.$df.'\', 1);" title="Edit '.$dv.'" class="QE_Link" style="display:none;">Edit : '.$QEPrefix.$dv.'</a>';
        			$placeholders["[+#$dv+]"] = $value;
        		}
        		return $placeholders;
        	}

          I’ve just finished upgrading a test version of my site to modx 0.9.5B2 and Ditto 1.1 Beta and was wondering how I should go about using the new Reflect snippet to maintain my blog archive page.

          Any explanations would be greatly appreciated!

            Do you perhaps mean Replix, not Reflect?
              No, I don&#39;t know what OpenGeek&#39;s saying half the time either.

              Reflect is the archiving component in Ditto 1.1. It’s finally being broken down from it’s monolithic approach! smiley

                Ah. Great idea. I should really have a look at this 1.1 release!

                @Marschant: I guess we’re hoping to use Reflect for the blog archive page in the 0.9.5B3 default content - once we have that together, I want to make sure we document and explain how it is done there.

                  Great! I’ll be patient in that case. Must say I’m really liking the speed increase with both beta releases and the new Doc Manager module is excellent...

                    Hi Mark,

                    I’m still testing ditto 1.1 to handle around 2 500 docs and wanted to report my experiments

                    The tree repository is:

                    /root
                    -/main folder
                    --/subFolder1
                    ---/subSubFolder1
                    ---->doc1
                    ---->docN
                    ---/subSubFolderN
                    ---->doc1
                    ---->docN

                    I’ve tried to call setting &startID=`main folder` &depth=3 to get for instance the last 5 docs added
                    This call returns systematically a modx parse error = server has gone away and php exec time > 20s

                    So I’ve tried another way
                    with these settings &parents=`mysubSubFolder,list,comma separated` &depth=1
                    everything is fine and quite fast

                    Do you have any idea why the first call failed ?
                    Of course I’ve succeeded in obtaining the expected result but it’s not really handy to write the complete list of subsubfolders (about 40)

                    :-)

                    P.S except subSubfolders none has content

                      I’ve just moved from Ditto 1.0.2 to 1.1 Beta in order fix a problem which cropped up with the sort ordering.
                      Anyway, I’ve just discovered a bit of an issue. I have a certain Ditto call which turns off normal truncation and ’truncation at the splitter’, and use it to summarise articles which DO have the splitter string in them.

                      Here is the Ditto call I am using:

                      [!Ditto? &startID=`26` &sortBy=`pub_date` &summarize=`1` &trunc=`0` &truncSplit=`0` &tagData=`tvNewsletterNumber` &tags=`3` &tpl=`NewsletterNews` !]

                      And here is a link to the result:

                      http://www.gamesfaction.com/80.htm

                      and as you can see, it is a bit broken. For interest, this is what that particular article ought to look like:

                      http://www.gamesfaction.com/83.htm

                      If you look at the source of the broken one, you can see that it has still truncated the article just after the <!--splitter--> and then attenpted to ’close’ the splitter tag. This is obviously then causing all the other tags to be out of whack. Here is an excerpt from the page source:

                      <!-- splitter -->
                      <p><a href="http://www.gamesfaction.com/assets/forum/index.</p></!-->

                      This discussion is closed to further replies. Keep calm and carry on.
