Works like a charm. This was a nice surprise this morning as I was just about to release manager access to my client today. The new carbon theme should definitely impress. Thank you MODx team for all your hard work. This system is very impressive and I have been messing around with it quite a bit recently. Soon we’ll be releasing a rapid deployment template for MODx that should be very useful to designers in order to simplify the task of creating functionality on the fly.
I can effectively active/deactivate functionality through TVs anywhere on our web sites with seamless integration into structure restraints. Should get interesting soon.
Let the fun begin.

Not quite, I think.
In the new terminology, Resources and Elements are two different things.
The stuff in the tree is now resources.

Plugins
This is important in transition to Revolution where they are all in the trees on tabs (or optionally in an accordion menu).
In Revolution, the tree looks like this (for now anyway):

Glad to see the Carbon theme be the default. I’ve used it on every MODx site since it was released.

Bob, I think you confirmed what I was saying...the document tree is now the ’resource tree’. 
Right, but with respect to resources and elements, it might be clearer (or not) to say that what used to be resources are now elements and what used to be documents are now resources (though they’re still documents).

right. The terminology is being brought into line with standard web terminology: web resources, as in "Universal Resource Locator". So pages, files, etc that you would access with a URL or URI are resources. The internal MODx ...things are elements.

I think the new installer is nice. Though I have noticed a problem with German "umlaute" (e.g. ä,ö,ü, show up as gibrish), I like it more than the old one.
I also agree that the new carbon theme is neat, but I think it would be a good idea to set the basic font-size to 12 or even higher. Font-size 11, coloured nearly black (#111) on a white background is very strenuous for the eyes.
I’m still missing a "save" button which is always "hovering" on top of the edit document area. I get a lot of complains about this feature and I’m surprised, that this "usability problem" still isn’t solved. Though the BottomButtonBar by Mitch is very helpful, I would be awfully greatful for a more convenient solution.
By the way. I think it would be a good idea to move the safe, delete, cancel buttons to the right side. Don’t know how many times I have tried to click the save button and hit one of the links on top of it instead.
Another thing that I was hoping to see was a working "export website" feature. I still get a "Could not retrieve document" message for each and every document in the tree. Searching the forum about this "feature" gives me the impression, that for the majority of modx installations the export function is a mess.
