    We’ve been incredibly hard at work over the last six months trying to get ready to really dive head first into the world of working ON our software every day instead of IN it. Some of the highlights:

    [*] Several Revo releases, including the latest 2.0.7 out today
    [*] Another Evo release coming soon currently in RC (see, it’s not being abandoned!)
    [*] We’ve finalized plans to of just how we’re going to make money and continue to accelerate and foster the MODX ecosystem and software
    [*] Oh, and there’s the whole subject of a new website ... wink

    Tonight (well actually early AM) we’re excited to preview the new website while we button up and polish a few details. We’re committed to seeing MODX become one of the premiere content management solutions, and we have big plans towards that. A key step in this process is the new website which you can preview now at http://beta.modx.com/

    The transition to the full new site will take a few more weeks as we wrap up some remaining items (Add-ons and Download improvements, populating the Partner and Wall of Fame section, and the new Forums). Some of the highlights of the new website include:

    [*] The MODX Solution Partner Directory—the cornerstone of the MODX business going forward are great solution providers all over the world
    [*] The MODX Wall of Fame—acknowledging all the donors who’ve generously helped support MODX in the past
    [*] The MODX Hosting & SaaS Directory—MODX hosts and SaaS providers that work wonders with MODX
    [*] My Account—full control over your MODX information and more ... you’ll see a lot happening here in the coming weeks and months!
    [*] An all-new Made in MODX Site Showcase (and yes you can start submitting entries again)
    [*] A MODX Job Board for hiring qualified MODX talent for full time or contract positions
    [*] A Help Wanted Board where people can post small to medium-sized projects for free without having to create a forums account
    [*] Completely overhauled site IA and organization in general—hopefully things are much easier to find and more consistently handled
    [*] HTML5/CSS3 and then some

    We would really appreciate your thoughts and reaction using the Feedback tab on the new website to report any issues that need to be fixed (or a general discussion here is fine too I suppose) we look forward to the official public launch later this month. To all our longtime forum members, welcome to the future of MODX.

        The website is absolutely awesome.

        I will just suggest a little change regarding the gradient on the subscribe bar which look a little bit too glossy 2k than 2011.
        You can test my proposition by changing :

            background-color: #5FA5AF;
            background-image: -moz-linear-gradient(center top , #5FA5AF 0%, #1E4F6A 19%, #02314B 100%);
            position: relative;
            z-index: 1;

        for:
            background-color: #5FA5AF;
            background-image: -moz-linear-gradient(center top , #5FA5AF 0%, #27607F 1%, #1E4F6A 45%, #02314B 100%);
            border-bottom: 1px solid #0A364F;
            position: relative;
            z-index: 1;

        I like the new logo but i wonder why the letters have not the same size as the logo itself ?

        Overall, good job guys, can’t wait to browse on it!

        PS: I didn’t find the feedback button and Firebug firing an error on this subject:
        GSFN is not defined
        var feedback_widget = new GSFN.feedback_widget(feedback_widget_options);

          The website is very clean and easy to use! I like the megadropdown menu and the division between Revolution/Evolution. Evolution was left behind in MODx website lately.

          Some issues I’ve noticed with Firefox and Chrome:

          Page: http://dev.modx.com/modx/evolution/download/#header

          Page: http://dev.modx.com/learn/gallery/?product[]=revolution&mode=mostrecent

          Another thing: it seems that when I highlight the text it becames purple. I would use another color like light-blue.
          I also suggest to make the same division Revolution/Evolution in the forum, so we’ll have less confusion.

          Thanks for your hard work on the project MODx Team!

                It looks great!!
                I like all the little details like the "On the Website" block on the homepage.
                But the logo?! Maybe it takes some time to get used to..

                I will do some cross browser testing tomorrow if its needed..

                  Definitely will have to get used to that... I’ll miss the green, purple and grey! sad
                  I must admit that it looks way more professional - like a fully grown CMF worthy of serving huge corporations.

                  The partner program seems particularly interesting - for people looking for commercial support as well as those making a living of MODx.

                  There are still some pages without content, I assume you guys are still working on it.. Like this one http://dev.modx.com/modx/revolution/developer/

                    Oh, and please consider to change all(!) custom settings by html5boilerplate.
                    e.g. the ::selection color ;-)

                    If you need some assistance for anything related to the frontend/UI/UX - I’d like to help you out...
