Hi BenMarte,
Finally got it working once on a new server. Phew!
How do I make the bullets align to the left edge of the image, they are always centered even if I set a CSS left:0px; I see in developer tools that it is writing a left:nnnpx value inline in the div and that is overriding my CSS in the default.css file. How can I get it to stop writing that inline left value?
Thanks,
David

@jaeger83 to override the css for the slider bullets add this class to your css file or you can edit the style.css file located in:
assets/NivoGallery/nivoSlider/style.css
.theme-default .nivo-controlNav{
left:0px !important; /* controls the x position of the element */
top:0px !important; /*controls the y position of the element */
}
Make sure you use
!important so it overrides any other styles.
I hope that answers your questions, thanks for using NivoGallery.
Cheers Ben, that worked but I fixed it in the assets/NivoGallery/nivoSlider/themes/default/default.css file.
Thanks for your help.

@jaeger83
I suggest you make any changes in the style.css instead of the default.css since the style.css overrides whatever is in the default.css file.
Just FYI, glad you got working.
i couldn't find the class .nivo-controlNav in the style.css file. should i add the code you pasted previous into the style.css file then?
thanks

@franklos it seems your templates directory doesn't have the correct permissions and can't install the plugin.
