hm, I’ve got it working successfully on 2.0.7pl
And it really shouldn’t be a matter of the 2.0.7 update I think.
@cipa: Can you get more into detail what’s going wrong?
So,
1. Download from github Bruno17-multiItemsGridTV-72e5e17.zip
2. Unziped and copied on the server
3. multiItemsGrid-TV using Input Type: multiitemsgrid
4. import properties - 2 rows, formtabs and columns
5. assign Tv to Template
6. Create image-Tv (Input Type: Image)(Whis is this needed?)
7. Create richtext-Tv (Input Type: RichText)(Whis is this needed?)
8. Checked TinyMCE is installed and working.
9. Cleared cash and flushed
I still get the same thing. See attachments. I suspect a Property misconfiguration but I’m not sure what.
As you can see no TinyMCE is shown.
Questions:
I create 2 TVs above. image-TV and richtext-TV but in the Add Item pop up there are 3 fields. Title, Description and Image.
How is this working?
Thanks
I am trying to use this
[{"caption":"Info",
"fields":
[{"field":"title","caption":"Title"},{"field":"image","caption":"Image","inputTV":"image"}]
}]
in the formtabs property set but I still don’t get the Image Input Type. I get a regular text field
Any help appreciated

multiItemsgridTV is searching for a TV-name which you give here "inputTV":"image" and uses that TV as input-type for that field.
if you don’t set a inputTV or if the TV with that name does not exist it uses a textbox as input-type.
glad you got it
from wiki:
Create image-TV
name: image
input-type: Image
the name has to be the same as in the property "inputTV":"image"
you can also use other names for your image-TV, but then you need to change the name also in the property "inputTV".

Is it possible and straight forward to set the values of multiItems-tv via the front end using formit2resource?
eg:
pagetitle: event-01
participants (multiItem tv, 1 text field, 1 boolean field):
- Bob | true
- Wendy | false
- Thomas | true
with a bit javascript (mootools, jQuery, extJs..........) I’m sure its possible. Straight forward, hmm..., depends on your skills.
