Aaron, if I were ever to decide to use a Windows server, it would most certainly be one of yours! However, I was referring to the Dutch hosting company Frank was asking about.

      Doh,

      Just re read your post.

Looking at phpinfo it meets the specs of Revolution so it should work on their servers, most web hosts are normally very helpful, I guess Frank could contact them to see if they have installed it before however I doubt the answer might be No because it’s still in beta but comparing the revo specs to Frank’s phpinfo it should work fine.

          Hi,

well that seems to be all okay, install went easy and I set up a very basic site.
Installed TinyMC and Wayfinder, very easy.
SoI think flexwebhosting.com can be added to that list.
Or is there stuff to verify before that can be done?

"should" and "shouldn’t" is all very well and good, but has anybody actually installed Revolution on one of their servers?

Sottwell, I would have elaborated, but I figured it wasn’t relevant. I have installed Revolution Beta 3 with the limit at 64 MB, but I have never successfully upgraded without setting it to 128-256. I worked from SVN, though, and I might not have been doing things the best way.

So yes, you can install with the 64 MB limit from my experience, but I can’t say about upgrading since I’ve had problems.

I question why your first post is a promotion for a service, davidmamal45 tongue But regardless, Bluehost is the same company as Hostmonster (I believe Bluehost is the parent company or whatever), and I’ve found their customer service to be rather unhelpful, even to the point of making me feel like I wasn’t valued as a customer at all.

Indeed, davidmamal45 broke into another discussion with this same exact post. While such a post on the "hosting experiences" forum might be considered on-topic, butting in here like this is perilously close to spam.

No, it’s actual spam, as far as I can tell. He’s leading you to a link with his Bluehost affiliate code.
