    Hi,

    would it not be an idea to start some Modx dedicated servers on a few locations around the world.
    I see loads of host related problems in this forum, so why not stop wasting money and see how many of us would be interested.
    I would!

    Frank.

      We’ve personally tested the hosts listed on our hosting page: http://modxcms.com/community/partners/hosting.html

      For now they’re Evo qualified, and we’ll be working on Revo for the same as we get closer to GA release.

        Hi,
        I try to fresch install Revo2 beta-2 on Bluehost, but I recived this message

        FATAL ERROR: MODx Setup cannot continue.
        * MODx requires the PDO extension when native PDO is being used and it does not appear to be loaded.
        * MODx requires the pdo_mysql driver when native PDO is being used and it does not appear to be loaded.

        Before I was able to install and work with Revo2 beta-1 on the same provider...
        Any idea?

        Thanks

          Seems like they may have upgraded something and forgot to enable the pdo_mysql extension. We’ll let them know wink

              extension=pdo.so
              extension=pdo_sqlite.so
              extension=sqlite.so
              extension=pdo_mysql.so

                I would recommend you log a support ticket with Blue Host, it does sound like they have missed off the configuration of the pdo extension’s since a recent upgrade.

                  We contacted Bluehost as well and they’re looking into the issue.

                    I don’t mean to get this thread off topic, but now I’m having the exact same error with Beta 3 on Hostmonster, which is part of Bluehost or a sister of it or something. I did not have these errors with Beta 1 or maybe even Beta 2. I contacted them, so hopefully something just got misconfigured.
                      I'm learning more about MODx all the time and loving it.

                      For Hostmonster/Bluehost hosters, please report back if it’s working again:
                      Ok, they did some digging on our side and out of the thousand+ servers 29 Bluehost Servers and 38 Hostmonster did not have the PDO in the main php.ini files. He updated all of those boxes and would like you to notify us if anyone is still having the same issues.
