    I have not yet received a response myself from Hostmonster, but this is still not working for me. I get this error when trying to install after getting a fresh copy from SVN:

    FATAL ERROR: MODx Setup cannot continue.

    * MODx requires the PDO extension when native PDO is being used and it does not appear to be loaded.
    * MODx requires the pdo_mysql driver when native PDO is being used and it does not appear to be loaded.

    I check my php.ini file and phpinfo() and it seems that the PDO modules should be working, but MODx is telling me they aren’t.
      I'm learning more about MODx all the time and loving it.

      Hi Compeek,

      As its a Windows server its most likely needs to be enabled on a server level, if you contact your web hosts they should be able to enable it in the master php.ini for you.

        Aaron, thanks, but it’s actually a Linux server. smiley Nonetheless, I’ve contacted them already to see what they can do. Thanks, though. laugh

            Hostmonster got back to me today. I could have sworn that I checked my php.ini file for the necessary pdo extension parts and saw them in there, but Hostmonster told me to add the lines to my file, and when I went to do so, I checked and they weren’t there. They instructed me to paste this text "towards the bottom above the zend lines":

            extension=pdo.so
            extension=pdo_mysql.so
            extension=pdo_sqlite.so
            extension=sqlite.so

            And it works! Hopefully this will help somebody else with similar problems.

              Hi,

              would this be okay for revolution:
              http://89.18.179.116/info.php

              If so we can add that provider in Holland as well
              Apparently mem limit is set to 64Mb and can not be changed, will that be a problem?

                The phpinfo you have provided looks like it should be able to support MODx Revolution.

                  The 64 MB limit shouldn’t be a problem.

                    "should" and "shouldn’t" is all very well and good, but has anybody actually installed Revolution on one of their servers?

                      I’ve installed it on the Onesmarthost windows servers, it works a dream.

                      Can’t wait until it becomes final.
