Seems to be a problem with your MySQL server or the mysql client libs. Without specific details of the platform though, we cannot debug your PHP/MySQL configuration. Perhaps you should compare your phpinfo() from your local machine to your server and see the differences?
Also, the wtf provider I have is this one :-
http://wtf.modxcms.com/addons2.js
, from your logs yours seems to be this one :-
http://wtf.modxcms.com/repos/addons.js
, try removing the repo from the path.
Use MODx, or the cat gets it!
If you are using the latest SVN, you’d want to be looking at http://modxcms.com/assets/provider.js not anything on wtf...
Ah, OK I’m not sure where the wtf one came from then, I believe its been there a while but I’ve not used it much so I can’t be sure, on latest SVN ie r5038 I’m still getting this
[2009-05-27 13:55:47] (ERROR @ /revdev/connectors/workspace/providers.php) Error in getting a response from the server: http://modxcms.com/assets/provider.js
on my windows box.

OK, works on linux, my windows box probably fails because its behind a squid proxy whereas linux isn’t. I’ll have alook when I get chance.

Shamblett: Right. The package manager wont work behind a proxy. You’ll have to set your proxy to allow JSON-RPC requests.
